so true—because if I am downright bad at it, I will already shift into doing something else, and I am possibly better at doing that something than doing art.

So the only reason is love and like to do art and be an artist, and believe being mediocre means there’s always room to learn and advance. Because I think no one is mediocre when they just started—we all start as a bad artist, but we get to mediocre level now, so why can’t we continue getting better at it? :)
